Street ZOO is a creative platform that was developed on top of Google StreetView to enable geo-localized interactive experiences. Use the world as a canvas and add amazing immersive graphics in order to create original scenes. 

Initially developed as a prototype, Street Zoo became a scaled platform that was used for multiple interactive campaigns with brands such as Lux and Wells Fargo. Matthieu Lorrain invented and led the development of StreetZOO, working with the production company Jam3.

LUX | SAKURA DREAM

Street ZOO was used by Unilever in Japan for the development of the Lux Sakura campaign. Sakura Dream is an interactive experience that brought the beauty of cherry blossoms to every urban streetscape around the world. Using the Street-view API and webGL, this responsive site turns any location into a beautiful Sakura (“Cherry Blossom” in Japanese) landscape that can be then shared on social media. Matthieu acted as creative technology adviser for the Sakura Dream project, working closely with the ZOO APAC team and the production company Jam3.

WELLS FARGO | Holiday magic

Winterize and share any location in Google Street View for a little WebGL holiday magic from Wells Fargo.

Holiday Magic was a project led by the ZOO San Francisco (Eugene Buono, Jason Mayes) in partnership with Jam3. The interactive concept and experience was based on Matthieu’s R&D work for Street Zoo.
