Liquid logic| KArma rush
AI Space Opera
AI | VIDEO
Karma Rush is an AI film experiment I created in November 2024 with a simple goal: how far could I push video production by only using publicly available AI tools?
Set in a hyper-futuristic world with strong echoes of past cultures, Karma Rush explores the tension between tradition and progress. The story is a visually striking sci-fi space opera, blending minimalist, brutalist aesthetics with the warmth of spiritual motifs and cultural relics. The result is a unique fusion of sleek technology and human storytelling, where every frame reflects this duality.
The project was inspired by a recent trip to South Korea, where the juxtaposition of ultra-modern cities and deeply rooted traditions sparked the core theme of the film. This cultural contrast became the backbone of the visual and narrative direction, infusing the project with a sense of grounded humanity amidst its futuristic setting.
Karma Rush was created in just two weeks with a budget of $400, using an innovative pipeline of AI tools like GPT, MidJourney, Kling, and Udio. Every aspect of production, from world-building to editing, was powered by generative AI, demonstrating the potential for accessible, cutting-edge filmmaking.
This project represents the future of creative experimentation, proving that small teams with limited budgets can produce compelling and imaginative narratives. Karma Rush is not just a film but a testament to the boundless possibilities of AI-driven storytelling and design.
