Visualize iconic Olympians’ moves with Google Search

In May 2021, Google announces a new series of 3D/AR experiences in partnership with some the world’s greatest athletes. Featuring Naomi Osaka , Simon Biles, Megan Rapinoe and many others, the experience allowed fans to visualize sport routine within their own space and get closer to the action. The Athletes in Search project was showcased during Google I/O (Google’s annual conference) as part of the main consumer keynote.

Matthieu Lorrain was the creative director behind the concept development. He led ideation, early visualization and use cases definition, as well as supporting the creative pitch to Google’s CMO, Lorraine Twohill.
