Revisiting iconic ad campaigns with Augmented Reality

In 2018, Google partnered with Ogilvy and Mediamonks to inspire advertising agencies with the creative potential of Augmented Reality.
The team revisited two existing award winning campaigns for Kiwi and Perrier by creating AR extensions that using the physical environment as a canvas. The two demos were built using AR Core and were showcased at the YouTube Beach during the Cannes Lions Festival for Creativity.
Matthieu Lorrain was the initial inventor of the program. He led creative direction and executive production working closely with product teams and the production company Mediamonks.
